RunSurreyRun's Commitment to Environmental Sustainability

RunSurreyRun, in collaboration with the Balsar Community Foundation, is dedicated to setting a new benchmark in the city, focusing on sustainability and environmental responsibility. Key initiatives include encouraging the use of public transport and carpooling, reusing t-shirts from previous races, and promoting participants to bring their own water bottles. This effort aims to eliminate the use of plastic bottles for water, ensure zero waste, and implement comprehensive recycling and waste management programs. Additionally, water stations will be set up to avoid the use of plastic jugs, and signage materials from last year's event will be reused to emphasize recycling and reusing. Participants will also receive reusable swag bags, furthering our commitment to environmental sustainability.
