Surrey Hospital Foundation
Surrey Hospitals Foundation is the largest non-government funder of health care for families in Surrey and its surrounding communities. Our work is essential to the health of our hospitals and the health of the 1.9 million people who reside in the Fraser Health region.
Thanks to the generosity of people like you, we provide funding for every one of our region’s major health facilities including Surrey Memorial Hospital and the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre. We also support and fund the Czorny Alzheimer Centre, along with many specialized community programs for newborns, children, adults and seniors. Our Surrey health care campus provides health care for your whole family, from birth to end-of-life. Through our campaigns, our generous supporters help recruit top medical professionals, hire the very best support staff, purchase and operate state-of-the-art medical equipment, and build and maintain modern health care facilities.
We are unstoppable in our determination to provide innovative medicine and life-changing care for our community.

Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland
As an organization that seeks to build self-esteem, we believe that every person has limitless potential and individual strengths. We seek to maximize these traits in each person who is a part of Big Sisters: the Little Sisters who haven’t yet seen what they are capable of; the mentors who are realizing their capability as role models; our supporters and community partners whose collaboration and backing is needed to help us build sustainable programs; and the volunteers and staff whose skills and knowledge help guide and grow this organization. Every get together, every phone call, every email, every letter, every hello and goodbye – matters. We are an organization that seeks to build connections: between mentor and mentee; organization and supporter; employee and colleague; family and caseworker. We know that building strong connections requires honesty, consistency and respect and we seek to foster those in every connection we make, every day. Thank you for being apart of our community and investing in the power of mentorship.

Canadian Blood Services
As a registered charity, Canadian Blood Services’ vision is to help every patient, to match every need, and to serve every Canadian.
Your financial donations help us do more to support patients who rely on Canada’s systems of life essentials for blood, plasma, stem cells, and organs and tissues. When you support Canadian Blood Services financially, you give our national efforts to recruit and engage with donors of the future a boost in times of need; you also fuel education, awareness and research and innovation our medical team is leading in clinical treatment and care.
Our role is to connect the lifesaving products from altruistic biological donors with patients in their greatest time of need — and financial gifts help make these lifesaving connections possible. Together with donors, recipients, employees, partners and volunteers, we are Canada’s biological lifeline.

Women of Options
The Gamechanger fund (in support of local youth at risk) is honoured to be a beneficiary of this year’s charity run. Options Community Services is a registered charity with more than 80 programs serving over 100,000 people each year. Part of these services address needs within the local youth population, including youth who are aging out of government care, newcomers to Canada, unemployed, street entrenched, pregnant and parenting, affiliated with gangs, seeking their high school diploma and more. Options Community Services supported approximately 3500 youth in their last fiscal year and this fund will allow them to continue to help each young person according to their unique needs, when and how they need it most.
The BC Cancer Foundation
The BC Cancer Foundation raises funds for BC Cancer to support world-leading scientists and clinicians across the province — as they advance global innovation and accelerate access for all British Columbians to cutting edge cancer care, close to home. As the largest philanthropic funder of cancer research and care in the province, our donors fuel hope for the 80,000 patients per year who depend on BC Cancer. Every dollar we raise stays in B.C., advancing breakthroughs and innovation across BC Cancer’s research programs and six world-class centers.
